ERIC J. FEIG, is a founding partner of the boutique
entertainment law firm Rosen Feig Golland & Lunn, LLP in Beverly Hills.
Feig, an entertainment attorney licensed to practice law in California, New York, and New Jersey, has a rich and well-rounded career of
entertainment transactional experience. For
over a dozen years, he has represented a wide variety of top Hollywood and
international screen writers, actors, directors, producers, authors, and
journalists in the areas of film, television, book publishing, new media,
mobile content, and theater.
Previously,
Feig served as Of Counsel to the Entertainment Department of the Los Angeles based firm, Wolf Rifkin Shapiro &
Schulman. Prior to this, Feig was Of
Counsel to the entertainment law firm Berton & Donaldson,
in Beverly
Hills.
Feig is a
frequent lecturer on general entertainment law and business topics, talent deal
negotiations and independent film issues.
Feig regularly participated as a speaker for the "Business of
Writing" seminar series presented by Scriptshark
and the Writers Boot Camp in Santa Monica, California. Feig also regularly speaks to the Fellows of
the prestigious Disney Writing Fellowship and at the Screen Producers
Association of Australia (SPAA) Annual Conference. Feig has also served as a technical consultant
for the entertainment law book "Clearance and Copyright - What Every
Independent Filmmaker Needs to Know."
Today the
seamless integration of content delivery systems, new models and methods of advertising,
merchandising and brand development require legal transactional
and entrepreneurial skills which go beyond traditional entertainment law firm
thinking. In this regard, beyond
extraordinary client servicing and solutions, Feig focuses on helping clients leverage
their intellectual property and creative assets among multiple exploitation
platforms.
Prior to
moving to Los Angeles, Feig clerked at the New York State Supreme Court, Civil
Branch/Appellate Term, 1st Dept., reviewing papers in the Ex Parte Part,
drafting memoranda and researching constitutional issues pending before the
court.
Feig is a
graduate of New York University and earned his law degree at Fordham University Law School in New York City. He is licensed to practice in California, New York, and New Jersey.
